  • Explore conscious dying as the process of using the end-of-life experience for personal growth through practices such as forgiveness, gratitude, and letting go and as an opportunity for spiritual awakening.

  • Examine life wisdom that invites us to see living fully, healing oneself, and preparing for death as interconnected aspects of the same transformative work.

  • Bring these end-of-life conversations alive and present through small group sharing, experiential practices, creative writing, story-telling, and individual reflective time.

Jan Booth is a longtime end-of-life nurse and the author ofDying Matters: 8 Conversations That Can Change Your Life, a conversation-starter for topics that are challenging to talk about: serious illness, end-of-life decisions, caregiving, grief, and loss. Practical, heart-centered conversations spark insight and connection – each with clear guidance, reflection prompts, and real-world stories. A built-in discussion guide makes it easier to begin these conversations with family, friends, and community – in living rooms, classrooms, or caregiving settings.
